Magdy Kotb

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Magdy Kotb, 75, of Nassau Bay, Texas. Magdy lived a long, beautiful life, but alas his loving heart beat for the last time on March 22, 2021 after living with heart disease for many years.

Magdy emigrated from his beloved Egypt in 1980 with his wife, Sonia and two daughters, Yasmine and Miral. Magdy lived every day fully and with genuine joy. He loved to laugh, dance, travel, chase sunsets, and watch soccer with Sonia. His energetic personality helped foster a community for 21 years at Mediterraneo Market & Café, the successful restaurant that he and Sonia own and operate.
